TAB5 Alkaline Phosphatase

TAB5 Alkaline Phosphatase is a heat labile alkaline phosphatase. It catalyzes the dephosphorylation of phosphomonoesters at both 5´ and 3´ ends of DNA and RNA molecules in a nonspecific manner. Additionally, it eliminates phosphate groups from the 5´ and 3´ positions of DNA, RNA, and dNTPs. This enzyme finds utility in various molecular biology applications, including the dephosphorylation of DNA and RNA ends to prepare them for cloning or probe end-labeling.
